WELCOME TO LIMPOPO
Limpopo continues to undergo a major renaissance with the emergence of a large number of game lodges, all ideal for vacations or “in-the-bush” conferencing. Limpopo is divided into four tourism regions, each offering a unique and memorable experience. The Capricorn Region offers a plethora of historical sites and attractions, from dinosaur footprints to wagon wheels, making it a “must see” destination for history enthusiasts. The Waterberg Region situated in the magnificent Waterberg Mountain Range, is a harsh but rewarding area of startling beauty, offering numerous archaeological finds and San paintings. The Zoutpansberg Region is dominated by the Limpopo, the country’s third most important river. The area is excellent for hunting, with the many game and nature reserves catering superbly for the ever-growing tourist population. In the east lies the Olifants River Valley, stretching from Giyani through to the world famous Kruger National Park.
Limpopo is the northern-most province bordering onto Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana, thus making it an innovative entrance to Africa. As a conference destination Limpopo has lots to offer, including the northern section of the Kruger National Park, with the main camps offering a range conference facilities. There are also many privately owned reserves offering luxurious accommodation, excellent game viewing opportunities and conference facilities.
