FROM JOHANNESBURG
Approximate distance - 560km. Proceed on the Witbank freeway (N4) towards Middleburg. At Middleburg take the N11 to Ermelo. At Ermelo take the R29 to Piet Retief, Pongola, (the R29 becomes the N2) to Mkuze and Hluhluwe. Take the Hluhluwe/Sodwana Bay off-ramp. It is also signposted as Zululand Tree Lodge. At the top of the off-ramp turn right onto the P453 over the N2 flyover. Travel a further 2.5km and you will see the Ubizane Wildlife Reserve's entrance gate on your left.
FROM DURBAN
Approximate distance - 276km. Proceed on the N2 North, past Tongaat, Stanger, Empangeni, Mtubatuba and Bushlands to Hluhluwe. Take the Hluhluwe/Sodwana Bay off-ramp. It is also signposted Zululand Tree Lodge. At the top of the offramp turn left onto the P453. Travel a further 2.5km and you will see the Ubizane Wildlife Reseve's entrance on your left. Hluhluwe - 7km.
